FASD Clinic will be an open house, where participants will gain the opportunity to be informed about FASD as well as there will be assessments and diagnoses if interested by participants. The event will be held @ 49 Natik Cambridge Bay, NU.

Multicultural Comedy Night
Multicultural Comedy Night is making a return again! This time our main performance will be done by Don Burnstick! Accompanied by Mike Jancke, David Ohokannoak (aka Inuk Juice), Matthew Ohokannoak and last but not least Eric Kitigon!
This event will be held in the Community Hall on 27th August, 2022, between the hours of 4:30pm - 10:30pm.
Tickets can be bought at KFS Main Office (29 Mitik Street).
Nerf Gun War
On Satuday the 27th August, 2022, KFS will be hosting a Nerf Gun Competition for all ages. Children will be between the ages of 5-12, Youths/Teenagers are from 13-19, Corporate Companies as well as Adults vs Childrens and Youths! There will also be a BBQ/Cookout during the event, associated with music.
The event will be hosted at the Paintball Park (Airport Road), space donated by the Municipality of Cambridge Bay.
Transportation is also provided by Ziggy’s Bus Transportation free of charge, the meeting point is at the KFS Main Office (29C Mitik Street).
ON-THE-LAND AQUA PROGRAM
On The Land Aqua Program features activities such as
Learning to kayak
Freshwater analysis
Fish sampling and filleting (freshwater and marine)
Learning to set nets
Learning about aquatic micro and macro invertebrates in marine and freshwater systems
Marine system studies
Funding and incentive are provided to applicants/participants by the Government of Nunavut.
Participants will also receive Students on Ice Certificate of Completion to be added to their resumes.
